The fabric is very smooth and nicely woven with no flaws. It was used for a lining in a Harris Tweed jacket. Its surface is so smooth that it made the jacket easy to put on even though it is not a satin or a real lining fabric. It would also make a beautiful sport shirt, which is its intended purpose.
