Cotton Muslin

Muslin fabric is a finely-woven natural color cotton material, widely used in dressmaking and quilt lining. Our 64 gram muslin is available in a crisp firm finish, or a smooth soft finish, and is perfect for making mock versions of dresses and gowns. Our 80 gram muslin, with a soft hand and light drape, is ideal for quilt lining and theatrical scenery, as well as for mock dresses and gowns. Our 315 gram muslin is a finely-woven natural color cotton material and at 315g this variation is our strongest, most heavy-duty muslin. With a somewhat stiff finish and firm drape, this muslin material is great for quilt lining, pattern printing and mock gowns. Sew your design using muslin first in order to perfect the fit and style, and then cut and sew your production fabric.
