Donegal tweed is so named because it originates from County Donegal in the province of Ulster, Ireland. The rough, heavy 100% wool fabric is perfect for informal outerwear as it is moisture-resistant and extremely durable. It's tight, warm weave resists wind, rain mist and even frost. Today, the term donegal describes any tweed that has colorful thick slubs woven into the fabric and we offer four distinctive patterns in our fabric.

The donegal tweed wool fabric is used in classic sport coats, jackets, hats, and other accessories.

CARE: The donegal tweed should be dry cleaned only.
