Georgette (shortened from crˆpe Georgette) is a sheer, lightweight, dull-finished crˆpe fabric named after the early 20th century French dressmaker, Georgette de la Plante. Our embroidered georgette has an intricate floral design and an attractive scalloped edge. The embroidered georgette comes in three classic colors and has a characteristic crinkly surface.
