Machine woven of reeled, cultivated silk fabric, silk fabric crepe de chine is very even and standard. and is probably the most durable of the cultivated silks. USES & CARESilk Fabric crepe de chine is beautiful for bridal and evening wear, and because of its versatility, works well for blouses, mens' shirts, and home decor.
CARE: Hand wash separately in lukewarm water using a mild detergent. Agitate gently and rinse with cool water after a few minutes. Do not let the fabric soak. Lay flat to dry, do not wring out. Fabric should be washed before cutting.

This is wonderful fabric. The colors are many and
beautiful. You can choose to wash it or dry clean it. The lighter
colors are somewhat sheer, so keep that in mind when planning your
outfit. The matching china silk would make excellent lining for it.
I have bought a lot of this fabric and will absolutely buy

I used this fabric for a summery evening gown to wear to
a wedding. The color was gorgeous and even better I washed the
dress so no big dry cleaning fees.
