As its name suggests, the face of this gorgeous silk is shiny while its crepe back is ribbed with a soft pebble-like texture. The fabric is medium in weight and has a high sheen, similar to charmeuse, only heavier and more luxurious. Each side offers a distinctive look and can be mixed and matched within the same garment to create a visually interesting appearance. Uses & Care
Silk crepe back satin is ideal for the most elegant bridal gowns, evening wear, and lingerie. Also works well for tailored blouses, dresses, pants, skirts, and ensembles.
CARE: Hand wash separately in lukewarm water using a mild detergent. Agitate gently and rinse with cool water after a few minutes. Do not let the fabric soak. Lay flat to dry, do not wring out. Fabric should be washed before cutting.
