The Alencon lace fabric #1 is a needle lace with a tradition dating back to the 17th century. The fine-quality imported fabric features an ornate black floral design outlined with heavy gold thread. Known as the Queen of Lace, Alencon is made when hundreds of small stitches are sewn together, creating a fabric so durable it will not unravel even when one or more of the loops becomes broken.
