Known as the Queen of Lace, Alencon lace is a fine-quality needle lace named for the region in France where lace-making originated in the Venetian style in order to reduce the country's dependence on expensive imports. Hundreds of small stitches are sewn together to form the lace making it incredibly durable and resistant to unravelling even when one or two of the loops is broken. Made in France and embroidered with an exquisite pattern of pearls and sequins, our lace is perfect for many special occasions.
