Description

The Alencon Lace #11 is an exquisite needle lace with an intricate pattern of cream-coloured floral designs on a white net ground. Named the Queen of Lace for its durability and airy, light appearance, Alencon is named for the region in France where it originated. In a tradition dating back to the 17th century, Alencon is made by sewing together hundreds of small stitches resulting in a fabric so strong it will not unravel even if one or more of the loops becomes broken.
