DescriptionAlso called the Queen of Lace, Alencon lace is a needle lace named for the region in France where it originated. Alencon lace is light and airy, yet durable. Made from sewing hundreds of small stitches together, it will not unravel even when one or more of the loops is broken. The Alencon Lace #4 features an ornamental pattern of flowers embroidered on a fine net ground and outlined with heavy gold thread or ribbon. It is a fine-quality imported lace suitable for many special occasions.
