Chantilly lace is a handmade bobbin lace named after the city of Chantilly, France, in a tradition dating back to the 17th century. It is known for its fine net ground, outlined pattern and abundant detail. It has a light, delicate and airy appearance and a floral pattern created by embroidering with thread and ribbon. The pattern has areas of design that are very dense, and is often outlined with heavier thread. The Chantilly lace #1 is a delicate, ornamental lace with a stunning olive hue.


The chantilly lace #1 is perfect for bridal apparel and special occasion wear, evening gowns, dresses, skirts, blouses, and with any outfit made of wool silk or linen.
