Made in France, the fine-quality Alencon lace is named for the region where needle lace began to be created in the Venetian style to reduce France's dependence upon expensive imported lace. Dating back to the 16th century, this technique of creating the “Queen of Lace” consists of sewing hundreds of small stitches together resulting in a highly durable material that will not unravel.

The pearls and sequins lace #2 is suitable for many types of special occasion apparel including bridal, evening gowns, blouses, skirts, and jackets.
