DescriptionThe guipure lace (also called Venetian lace) is a firm, stiff lace with no net background. The pattern is made by a series of closely packed embroidery stitches onto a fine fabric that disintegrates in the finishing process so that the ÒbackingÓ fabric cannot be seen in the finished piece. The artistic, eye-catching pattern is made from a polyester rayon blend available in red, brown, black, and sold by the yard.
USES & CAREThe guipure lace is used in women's formal apparel especially where the look of net background is not desired.
Dry clean only.

This is really beautiful guipure lace. I have an Anne Klein shell (top) made of guipure lace in yellow. I bought this fabric to echo that style. Even though the fabric is so fine, this type of garment goes with everything, from the most casual to very dressy. I can't wait to sew it.I would recommend this item to a friend.
