DescriptionBroadcloth is an exceptionally soft, especially sturdy material in a premium blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Our cotton broadcoth blend fabric pleats easily and is machine washable. Historically, broadcloth fabric was made in several parts of England during the end of the medieval period and was traditionally made from wool.
USES & CAREBroadcloth is ideal for making shirts, dresses, jackets, skirts, blouses, smocks, and aprons. It is also used in home decor such as lampshades, bed linens, and draperies.
CARE: Machine wash in warm or cool water and air dry.

The fabric looks and feels really smooth. I read up about pima cotton and combed cotton and learned that it is high quality cotton. It feels so much better than the junky broadcloth available at JoAnns and Handcocks. I'll see after several washings if it will continue to be nice. I think it will. It feels as good or better than the good broadcloth that is not longer available in our area and feels and good as my 500 count sheets; many washes and no pills. If this fabric proves to be good I'll be a permanent customer.I would recommend this item to a friend.
Excellent fabric for light weight shorts

Fabric was used to make lightweight cool cotton shorts
for travel in a hot humid climate. Did not crush and maintained its
'body' during wearing.
