Polyester Fabric

Synthetic fabrics have many benefits that have increased their popularity of the last several decades: they are inexpensive, durable, resistant to the elements and can have varying degrees of stretch, luster and weight. Polyester fabric, along with nylon fabric, is one of the most popular synthetics available, lending its multitude of beneficial properties to materials suitable for swim wear, athletic wear, uniforms and casual shirts and outerwear.

Polyester fabric is a perennial favorite, durable enough for repeated use and machine washability, but soft and workable enough to be ideal for costumes, crocheting fabrics, and printed dance wear. Polyester is often blended with other yarns to create wonderful fabrics that mix the benefits of both textiles, like dressy uniform fabrics and professional wear.
